My notes

"Know the enemy and know yourself, and you need not fear the result of a hundred battles"
The supreme art of war is to win without fighting
All warfare is based on deception: when able, appear unable
Victory is decided before the battle, in the planning
The five factors: the way (moral law), weather, terrain, command and discipline
Long wars wear down even the winner. Speed matters
Attack where the enemy is unprepared, appear where you are not expected
Be like water: take the shape of the terrain
Never corner the enemy completely, leave a way out
A good general creates the right situation instead of relying on the soldiers
Know when to fight and when not to
