My notes

"What is essential is invisible to the eye, one sees clearly only with the heart"
"You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed"
Grown-ups only understand numbers, they have forgotten what it is like to be a child
The rose: what makes her unique is the time spent on her
The fox: taming is creating ties, and creating ties means risking being hurt
Each planet is a kind of grown-up: the king, the conceited man, the drunkard, the businessman, the lamplighter, the geographer
The businessman counts stars to own them but enjoys none of them
The baobabs: small problems have to be pulled out early, before they grow
You have to put up with two or three caterpillars if you want to know the butterflies
The desert is beautiful because somewhere it hides a well
